Ilja Goossens, Founder
Besides being an energetic and driven entrepreneur, Ilja is also an absolute expert in Flash design and Flash programming. Since 2000 he has mainly focussed on internet, gaming and community building businesses. Before founding Virtual Fairground Ilja has, amongst others, set-up and run mobile and web community company yoMedia. He was also lead Flash developer at international, interactive agency Woedend!, Flash consultant and was one of the architects of the online game engine for tv-producer Endemols shows Deal or no Deal and 1 vs. 100.
 
Alexander Wichers, Technical Director
At the age of 10 his father gave him a Commodore 64. From then on Alexander taught himself machine language and developed expert computer knowledge. Alexander knows computer technology by heart and he is passionate to remain at the forefront of developments in his field. He has experience across a broad selection of industries, ranging from datawarehousing for non-profit organizations to online advertising. Before joining Virtual Fairground he was Technical Director at Qi. Alexander enjoys analyzing and optimizing patterns and workflows throughout the organization. He highly believes in collaboration and teamwork and has learned that leadership, guide-lines and client involvement are key to success.
 
Leo Kraan, Head of Production

Leo KraanLeo turned his passion for gaming into a career when he joined Playlogic in 2005 where he was project manager for different Xyanide releases, Sony's EyeToy Play: PomPom Party and Fairytale Fights. He is no stranger to managing complex development processes. Prior to joining Playlogic Leo worked at Ernst & Young for over 8 years as a senior consultant. Here he successfully developed and implemented information systems that are being used by thousands of people today. Leo is able to balance budget and deadlines on the one hand, and quality output on the other. He is devoted to delivering the best possible results while maintaining a good working environment.

 
Maarten Brands, Founder
Maarten is a lifelong gamer and has been working in the international games and new media business for years. He combines creativity with a sound commercial and strategic insight. He has successfully held various director and senior positions at game organisations such as Dutch Game Garden and W!Games but also has a background in youth advertising. At international agency JuniorSenior he was responsible for setting up one of the first dedicated in-game advertising units in Europe. Maarten is also co-owner of Funky Fish, a successful community and dating site in the Benelux.
